Mt. Everest Expedition - Tibet Side - Summit in 36 days - Tibet (China).

The highest summit alone in the world - the Everest climbing - is an exciting and a terrific experience. Our Tibet Expedition starts after you arrive at Kathmandu. Our representative transfer you to the hotel after picks up in the international airport.

The next day we will have introduction each other with our crews and rest of your time spent to make sure the Tibet visa and other necessary documents related for the Mt. Everest expedition . Finally, we heads to Mt. Everest after crossing Friendship Bridge (Nepal/Tibet border) through Arniko highway. The expedition crews are taken by trucks and members will drive by 4WD Land Cruiser.

The Everest along this route is technically straightforward, but climbers must be aware of the potential sudden weather changes and the risks involved.

Itinerary Day by Day Program

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel

Day 2-3: In Kathmandu for Tibet visa processing

Day 4: Flight to Lhassa (Tibet)

Day 5: Lhassa (3 600m) Arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. Free afternoon. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Lhassa (3 600m) Early morning brief on the expedition , first meeting with the team and control of your material. Afternoon free or visit of some parts of the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Lhassa (3 600m) Another acclimatization day in the city at 3 600m altitude. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Shigatse (3 900m) Early departure for Shigatse. During our walk we will make a detour to visit the monastery of Gyantze. From there you will enjoy this extraordinary view of the town and its region. The monastery was founded in 15th century and accommodates more than 400 monks. After this visit, we will continue our route to join Shigatse at 3900m. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9: Shegar (4 350m) We will join Shegar while crossing the Tibetan fields and the Lhakpa col based at 5 520m, from which we will see for the first time the Makalu and the Everest, the Lhotse and the Cho Oyu. Overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 10: Everest base camp (5 050m) We will leave the main road to join a trail along the Arun river until the Rongbuk village where we will have our first camp at 5 050m. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 11: Everest base camp (5 050m) Acclimatization day, with a small hike to 5 600m. Return to the base camp. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 12: Everest base camp (5 050m) Rest day.

Day 13: Ascension of a summit at 6 200m We leave the base camp to start the ascension of an unknown summit of 6 200 m. Bivouac at 5 600m. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 14: Everest base camp (5 050m) Resting day and training on handling of a rope on a glacier under the supervision of Marc Batard. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 15: Intermediary camp (5 800m) We leave to join the intermediary camp passing along the glacier East of Rongbuk, then we join the central moraine to reach our intermediary camp. This walk of around 12 km is one of the most beautiful in the region, and below the Chang pass (Chang La), in front of us, lays the advanced base camp. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 16: Everest altitude camp (6 400m) We goe ahead on our walk to join the advanced base (approx. 12 km). As we approach the advanced base camp at 6 400m, we enjoy the amazing view of the Everest. We should not underestimate this day because even though the ascent is not technical, we face high altitude, poor oxygen therefore progression is slow. Arrival at the camp. Overnigt stay in tent.

Day 17: Everest altitude camp (6 400m) Resting day, the team prepares the next day's ascent. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 18: Camp I (7 500m) Departure from the advanced base camp to join the Camp I at 7 500 m, where the sherpas will already have installed tents and ropes. You will be assisted by your guide, and equipped with oxygen.

Day 19: Camp II (8 300m) Departure from camp I to join the camp II at 8 300 m, where the sherpas will already have installed tents and ropes. You will be assisted by your guide, and equipped with oxygen.

Day 20 to 30: Climbing period..

Day 31: Camp II (7 500m) or Camp I (7 500m) Rest day

Day 32: Everest altitude camp (5 050m) Early departure to join the altitude camp. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 33: Everest base camp (5 050m) Early departure to join the base camp. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 34: Zhangmu, Early departure for a long car drive in which we will pass the Tibetan fields to join Zhangmu, a border town between Nepal and the Tibet. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 35: Kathmandu, After breakfast, we croos the border to reach Kathmandu. Arrival in the middle of the afternoon. Evening free. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 36: Kathmandu and return flight Day free. Night in hotel. Transfer to the airport.

Note: - To this expedition it will be better to attempt about 6000m mountain for acclimatization.
